Tina and Tanya, the rescued turkeys of 2tenFM fame, are doing really well with Rachel and her family. This is her latest report:

"Tina and Tanya are fab! Tanya is permanently hobbled as a result of either being picked up by her legs or over-feeding on a high protein diet but, despite this, seems pain-free and happy. She has been seen by a vet (try taking a bloody great turkey to the vets - great entertainment!) and passed as OK. They seem to enjoy the garden and Tina actually takes a regular bath in the duck pond. The boys, needless to say are really taken with them, as am I. I think I may now be a turkey person as well as a cat, duck and chicken person!"
