Trailjunkies Mountain Bike Centre - Wallingford

mountain, road and children's bicylce shop and hire centre

Sophie mtb, sun behind

A wonderful mountain biking shop run by people who really know their stuff and make you welcome. Many of the products that they sell, such as clothing and rucksacks, are useful for a wide range of activities such as hiking, climbing, shopping, skiing and of course cycling. The shop is right on a by-way so you can test out their extensive range of demo bikes in real off-road conditions.

So why are we featuring this shop?

  • they stock Patagonia products, which have some of the highest ethical standards in outdoor clothing.
  • they offer a 10% discount to T3V members - find out more by asking Stephen & Sophie when you come to any T3V event or give us a call.
  • they have one of the best ranges of non-leather saddles I've seen, including highly technical lorica ones (though do take care as some are leather)
  • all the products they sell are chosen because they are great and well proven by mountain bikers and outdoor-lovers.
  • they understand the needs of all ages, abilities and budgets of cyclist, and have some great road bikes too. Their demo bikes mean you can really find out how the bikes handle on all terrains before you buy.
  • they have a bowl of fruit on the counter, filtered water, plus coffee, tea and herb teas
  • children are really welcome here too, with free fruit, kids demo bikes to play on from 2 years upwards, and a budding ground-breaking kids bike recycling project
  • we really like these people, which is more than we can say for some bike shops

The Torq gels and bars they sell are vegan.
