The food is always at least veggie. Normally, it is all vegan because most times we organise a special menu (at a special price) and we don't want guests worrying about if they can eat everything. Our special menus are one of the many reasons to come along to a T3V event.
-
Wine and beer is much more difficult to pin down in veggie terms, and more difficult for the venue to do anything about (because it is supplied “as is” from their supplier – they don't make it themselves).
Also, it is hard to keep upto date with changes made to ingredients and processing by the makers of drinks.
For these reasons, we make no pledges about the alcohol available. We also do not police what people drink – although we might say a few words if you took a bit out of one of the guest's neck.

Send us an email and we'll put you on our mailing list. We try to keep group mailing down to a minimum. You get few email a mouth from us, normally about the next event.

Oh yes! Here are a few ways, in no particular order.
- Tell us about any good local veggie places we've missed.
- Put a review on the web site against the veggie places you eat at.
- Organise an event. There is a guide to this.
- Write an article for the site.
- Help with the logistics of the larger events - such as the Green Fairs and Womad. These types of events need many hands - just volunteer. We need all types of things. From many stalls, writing and printing leaflets, sweet talking people of influence, moving things around to baking cakes and more.
- When you go somewhere new, that is in our places to eat list, tell them you found them through Thames Valley Veggies. That way, they will pay more attention to us when we try to improve their menu.
- Always ensure you complement recommended places on their veggie/vegan offerings and then tell them how it could be even better.
- If you are restaurant manager why not contact us to organise a meal.
- Come to the events - the large numbers encourage the restaurants to improve their menus.
- Tell someone else about T3Vs.
- Post about the group on other web sites.
- Persuade someone to link to this web site.
- Go Vegetarian.
