This will be the 6th Veggie Snow trip! Would you like a ski and snow-boarding trip where all the food is vegan? Where relaxing eco-friendly travel is the main option?
Help CIWF stall at the Association for Science Education Conference

Compassion In World Farming is very sensibly having a stall at the Association for Science Education Conference in Reading this January. They could really do with more volunteers to help man the stalls to tell teachers of Food Technology and other sciences about their programme of school speakers and the literature and research they produce. CIWF have excellent materials on the effect of livestock on global warming for instance. You could also mention that Thames Valley Veggies have experienced school speakers and cookery demonstrators, and give local teachers our contact details (we have school speaker info postcards). Please contact Phil at CIWF below to tell him if you might be able to help on the stall for any time at all. Say you heard about this through Thames Valley Veggies. Where: Reading University Whiteknights Campus, Reading, RG6 6UR on Thu 8th Jan 2009 @ 10:00 until Sat 10th Jan 2009 @ 18:00. Contact: Phil Brooke via website.
